Multiply the amount of blocks you placed from third ten by 5 to get the time you need to wait to take off the third cooldown and so on (I hope you're good with math). To take off the first cooldown you need to wait as many seconds, as many blocks from the second ten you've placed.

Then the cooldown will be 10 seconds, and lastly - 30. The placing of following 10 blocks will have 5 second cooldown. Next 10 blocks may be placed with 1 second cooldown for each placing. The principle sounds like this:īuilding limits: You can place your first 10 blocks freely, without any cooldown. The limits will manifest themselves in many cooldowns. My idea may seem radical, but I feel like it is the only way of achieving the goal. Therefore I think it will be a good idea to limit some of the possibilities, particularly players possibilities in building and mining. There is no reason for a clan to build a solid looking camp, if every member can have his own palace in a matter of minutes. Structures are rising and falling as fast as a lightning strike only because of the sheer power of each individual player. If theoretically you have build your base, hidden behind mighty walls, surrounded by observation towers, the enemy could single handedly destroy all of your creations by simply digging under all the borders and placing TNT all over your base.

The reason why it is impossible to create smp I have in mind is the overwhelming amount of power every single player has. And the servers with no prohibitions at all look nothing like my fantasy server, 2b2t as an example. If there is a server similar to the one I dream of, it feels hollow, childish, it lacks freedom. The potential to create your own story and bond it with other peoples fates, making it a history is blowing my mind with all sorts of epic, almost movie-like scenes that are possible to experience in this game mode, so much so that it seems like a great idea to actually go and play Minecraft smp's. The server with a giant map and many players on it, people that you can communicate with, build your nations with, start wars with. I was always mesmerized by the idea of smp.
